The New International Student Orientation will occur on Monday, August 23 , 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration links will be sent out to all new incoming students a week prior to the orientation. If you did not get this link please email email@example.com to be registered.
This orientation is to address the unique needs of international students, many of whom are in the United States for the first time. This mandatory program assists with the acclimation of life at Buffalo State.
Fall 2021 New International Student Orientation Monday, August 23, 2021 (8:30-4:00pm).
It is important that First-Year students register for orientation and submit their Weigel Health Forms as soon as possible. After submitting the Intent to Enroll form, registering for orientation an submitting your health records and academic adviser will develop your fall semester class schedule. Transfer students who bring 30 or more US credit hours will be given access to register for classes by your academic department.
Airport pick up
Saturday, August 21, 2021 we have a complimentary shuttle pick up at 6:00 p.m. from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, to take you to campus. Please confirm with Michelle Downey if you would like to have this service at: firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are arriving at a different time please take a taxi from the baggage claim area of the airport. The cost of transportation is typically $35-40.
The Residence Halls also opens to on-campus students Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. You will not be permitted to stay on campus prior to Saturday. Reminder all students who are under the age of 21, with less than 60 credit hours are required to live on campus.
The first day of class is Monday, August 31, 2021 fall term.
