New International Student Orientation assists with acclimation to life at Buffalo State, discusses resources available on campus, and allows you to meet other students who are new to Buffalo State and the United States.

Airport Pick-Up

Each semester, Buffalo State offers a complimentary shuttle at a single designated time picking up at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport and dropping off at Buffalo State's campus.

Spring 2024 Shuttle Pick-Up: Our complimentary shuttle for the Fall 2023 semester is scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 6:00PM. This shuttle will pick students up at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport at 6:00PM and transport students directly to Buffalo State's campus. If you would like to use this service, please confirm with Tricia Herritt prior to arrival by emailing herrittl@buffalostate.edu.

If you are arriving at a different time please take a taxi from the baggage claim area of the airport.  The cost of transportation is typically $35-40. 

New International Student Move-In

Fall 2024: The Residence Halls opens to new international students who will be living on campus on Saturday, August, 17 2024 at 6:00 p.m. You will not be permitted to stay on campus prior to Saturday, August, 17 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

As a reminder, all students who are under the age of 21, with less than 60 credit hours are required to live on campus.
