Scholarships | International Student and Scholar Services

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services provides financial awards through several scholarships to international students. Recipients must be matriculated and enrolled full-time at Buffalo State at the time they apply for the scholarships. Eligibility requirements vary by scholarship.

NEW DESTINATION BUFFALO STATE SCHOLARSHIP $9,500 yearly

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours)
Live on campus
The scholarship is renewable for up to four years for entering freshman, provided the student maintains a 2.25 grade point average and is in good academic standing.

The scholarship is targeted to support “non-tuition” related expenses of the recipient including fees, room and board, books, personal, travel along with other related expenses related to special experiences like study abroad, etc.

IMPORTANT DEADLINE- July 1, 2023

All Destination Buffalo State Scholarship Award Winners must complete the following by July 1 in order to have their $9,500 award applied to their 2023-2024 school bill.
