Bengal ID Cards

What is a Bengal Card?

As an international student, you will be issued a Bengal Card when you arrive on campus. Bengal Card is the multipurpose photo ID issued to students, faculty, and staff at Buffalo State. Each card has a unique identification number assigned to the cardholder. It is the official ID for the use of campus services and facilities.

Do Bengal Cards expire?

Bengal ID cards are functional year-to-year. Returning students do not need a new card each academic year. If a card is lost, the $15 replacement card will automatically expire the lost card. If found, lost cards will no longer work, once a replacement has been ordered, and should be discarded. Students, returning to Buffalo State after 3 semesters absence, are considered new students and  should order a new card for free.
